Judges and lawyers of the Wilkes-Barre Law & Library – Luzerne County Bar Association recently elected Atty. Qiana Murphy Lehman as the 56th Bar President for a 2026/27 two-year term. She succeeds Attorney Cheryl Sobeski-Reedy in the role. Atty. Lehman is the principal owner of Lehman Law, PC, a full-service criminal and civil litigation law firm in Kingston, PA. The Bar Association is one of the oldest in the country, dating back to 1850, having celebrated its 175th Anniversary last year. It maintains the Hon. Max Rosenn Memorial Law Library in the Luzerne County Courthouse, produces the weekly Luzerne Legal Register publication, has a lawyer referral service and a separate nonprofit, charitable foundation to benefit the community. In addition, it hosts continuing legal education seminars and special events for its members.
