Judges and lawyers of the Wilkes-Barre Law & Library – Luzerne County Bar Association recently elected Atty. Qiana Murphy Lehman as the 56th Bar President for a 2026/27 two-year term. She succeeds Attorney Cheryl Sobeski-Reedy in the role. Atty. Lehman is the principal owner of Lehman Law, PC, a full-service criminal and civil litigation law firm in Kingston, PA. The Bar Association is one of the oldest in the country, dating back to 1850, having celebrated its 175th Anniversary last year. It maintains the Hon. Max Rosenn Memorial Law Library in the Luzerne County Courthouse, produces the weekly Luzerne Legal Register publication, has a lawyer referral service and a separate nonprofit, charitable foundation to benefit the community. In addition, it hosts continuing legal education seminars and special events for its members. Qiana Murphy Lehman, Esquire of Lehman Law, P.C. has been elected by her peers to the office of Vice President for the Wilkes Barre Law and Library Association for a two year term. When she completes her two year term, she is scheduled to succeed to the office of President.

The Luzerne County Bar Association Charitable Foundation Inc., the charitable arm of the county bar association, presented a donation grant to Paint Pittston Pink. Paint Pittston Pink is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to the raising of funds to end breast cancer and, eventually, through research and clinical trials, all cancer.
